Introduction
EventsLog is operated by INFO STACK CORPORATION. These terms govern your use of the EventsLog platform. By accessing or using EventsLog, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Platform services
EventsLog is a platform that helps organizations manage their events. This includes creating event pages, collecting registrations, managing attendees, checking attendees in, and recording donations and related event activities. Some features may be offered as part of an early-access or soft-launch program, and the platform continues to develop over time.
Accounts
If you create an account to manage events or assist an organization, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Organizer responsibilities
Organizations that use EventsLog to run events ("organizers") are responsible for:
- their events and the way those events are run;
- the content they publish on their event and organizer pages;
- communications with their attendees;
- compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to their events and organization; and
- donations collected for their events, including any refunds and their relationships with their donors and attendees.
Payment processing
EventsLog is designed to support online payment processing through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. When this capability is available, organizers may connect their own payment accounts to collect donations and payments for their events. In that case, organizers are the recipients of the funds collected for their events, and those funds go directly to the organizer's connected account.
INFO STACK CORPORATION operates the EventsLog platform but does not receive or hold organizer funds. Payment processing is subject to the terms and policies of the applicable payment provider.
Acceptable use
When using EventsLog, you agree not to:
- use the platform for any unlawful purpose;
- engage in fraudulent activity;
- misuse attendee or donor information; or
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its operation.
Availability and changes
EventsLog is provided on an ongoing basis, and platform features may change over time. We may modify, add, or discontinue features or services, and we may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of liability
EventsLog is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the platform reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, INFO STACK CORPORATION is not responsible for the events organizers run, for the actions of organizers or attendees, or for indirect or incidental losses arising from use of the platform.
