Introduction
EventsLog is operated by INFO STACK CORPORATION. This page explains how refunds and payment disputes are handled on the platform. Because events on EventsLog are run by independent organizers, refunds for donations and registrations are handled by the organizer that ran the event, not by EventsLog.
Organizer responsibility
Events on EventsLog are operated by independent organizers. Each organizer is responsible for its own events, registrations, donations, payments, and refunds, as well as its relationships with its donors and attendees. Refund decisions are made by the organizer in accordance with its own policies. EventsLog does not make refund decisions on behalf of organizers.
Donation refunds
Donation refund policies may vary from one organizer to another. If you would like to request a refund for a donation, or have a question about one, please contact the organization that received the donation. EventsLog records donation information on behalf of organizers but does not make refund decisions and does not receive or hold the funds.
Event registration refunds
Where an organizer offers registrations, registration refund policies may also vary by organizer. Any refund requests relating to a registration should be directed to the organizer that is running the event. EventsLog provides the tools organizers use to manage registrations, but refund decisions rest with the organizer.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
When online payments are made through a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, payment disputes and chargebacks are handled through that provider's processes. Because organizers are the recipients of funds collected for their events, an organizer may be required to respond to a dispute involving its event. Where appropriate, EventsLog may assist by providing relevant platform records, but the resolution of a payment dispute is determined by the payment provider and the parties involved.
Platform role
INFO STACK CORPORATION operates EventsLog and provides the platform tools that organizers use to run their events. EventsLog is not the seller, merchant of record, or recipient of donations or payments, and it does not receive or hold organizer funds. Where online payment processing is available and an organizer connects their own payment account, funds go directly to that organizer's connected account. EventsLog is not responsible for organizer refund decisions.
